Attractive Dentures in Elk Grove, CA
A Natural-Looking Solution for Your Smile
At Wackford Dental, we want all our patients to experience a beautiful, healthy smile that gives you confidence. That’s why we offer comfortable dentures that are custom-made just for you.
What Are Dentures?
Dentures are attractive prosthetic replacement teeth. They’re removable for easy maintenance. We feature two types of dentures: partial and full.
- Partial Dentures: Commonly referred to as partials, this restoration attaches to a metal frame that’s secured to your natural teeth. We can use a partial denture to easily fill one or more gaps in your smile.
- Full Dentures: If a patient is looking to restore a whole arch, Dr. Elsemary or Dr. Salem may suggest a full denture. A full denture is custom-made to fit your smile, remaining in place using natural suction.
Am I a Candidate for Dentures?
Full arch dentures and partials are an excellent solution that’s available for most patients. The best way to find out if they’re the right treatment for you is to schedule an appointment with one of our dentists at Wackford Dental.
During your consultation, Dr. Elsemary or Dr. Salem will answer your question, examine your oral health, review your treatment history, and then go over your treatment options with you.
Caring for Your Dentures
Like your natural teeth, dentures require daily maintenance to keep them clean and your smile healthy.
Dentures aren’t immune to plaque and tartar build-up, so it’s important to brush them every night. You can brush your dentures using a soft-bristled toothbrush, gently cleaning the entire surface. Between cleanings, we also suggest rinsing them after meals.
When you’re cleaning your dentures, we recommend placing a towel underneath it to avoid damage in case you drop them.
If you require assistance finding the right cleaner, we’ll be happy to provide a list of products that are safe to use with your dentures.
